Mi garba girare per i laboratori artistici. Stamani di buon ora, quando ancora c’era una bella arietta fresca, ho passato l’uscio per andar a trovare dinuovo il Galleni e i suoi scultori nel studio di Pietrasanta.

Sapete, arrivano fin qua da tutto il mondo a commissionare opere importanti: artisti che vogliono vedere concretizzati i loro pensieri nel migliore dei modi e privati  che desiderano decorare le loro immodeste regge con copie di sculture celeberrime, fedelissime all’originale. Insomma, c’è un bel via vai di persone e di lingue differenti ma anche di opere che partono per chissà dove, lontano da chi gli ha materialmente dato vita con dedizione, passione e sudore… il sudore soprattutto adesso in questa calurosa stagione appena cominciata.

E’ sempre bello vedere chi lavora con mani, testa e cuore, qualsiasi lavoro faccia.

Pietrasanta viene definita la piccola Atene ma secondo me di piccolo un c’ha proprio nulla. E’ un crogiuolo di laboratori artistici che spesso, ma non sempre, vengono tramandati di padre in figlio. Studi che si dedicano alla lavorazione del marmo ma anche laboratori di mosaici artistici e prestigiose fonderie. Insomma, se amate l’artigianato a tutto tondo, le sculture, i mosaici e le opere in bronzo, qui c’è pane per i vostri denti da qualsiasi parte dirigiate lo sguardo.

I like walking around the artistic workshops. This morning, when there was still a nice fresh air, I passed the door to go and see the Galleni and his sculptors in Pietrasanta’s studio.
