A una manciata di giorni dall’inizio del Giubileo2025, viene inaugurata l’esposizione internazionale “100 Presepi in Vaticano”.

La mostra propone ai visitatori presepi provenienti da ogni angolo del mondo, ciascuno realizzato secondo culture differenti.

I tanti presepisti che partecipano all’iniziativa, hanno realizzato la scena della Natività secondo il proprio sentire e molte delle opere presentate hanno come filo conduttore la speranza che non delude, titolo della Bolla d’Indizione dell’Anno Santo.

La mostra dei presepi fa parte delle tappe dell’importante rassegna Giubileo è cultura.

Il percorso espositivo ‘100 presepi in Vaticano’ è stato allestita sotto il Colonnato di sinistra del Bernini, in Piazza San Pietro. Sarà accessibile a tutti e verrà inaugurata domenica 8 dicembre alle ore 16.

Ad aprire la mostra sarà monsignore Rino Fisichella, responsabile dell’organizzazione del Giubileo, insieme ad alcuni membri del Dicastero e a una rappresentanza del Comune di Roma Capitale, in collaborazione con il quale è stata realizzata la rassegna.

In realtà i presepi esposti quest’anno non saranno 100 bensì 125 provenienti da paesi come Francia, San Marino, Croazia, Polonia, Germania, Ungheria, Repubblica Ceca, Slovacchia, Slovenia, Spagna, Stati Uniti, Costa Rica, Venezuela, Brasile, Mali, Giappone, Filippine, Taiwan, Paraguay e molti altri.

Come accennato prima, l’ingresso sarà sempre libero e proseguirà fino alle ore 19.30 del 6 gennaio.

La mostra sarà aperta tutti i giorni, dalle ore 10.00 alle ore 19.30, fatta eccezione per il 24 dicembre e il 31 dicembre, quando l’orario di chiusura sarà anticipato alle ore 17.00.

L’ultimo ingresso è sempre previsto non oltre 15 minuti prima dell’orario di chiusura. I Volontari del Dicastero per l’Evangelizzazione saranno presenti per tutta la durata dell’evento per offrire un servizio di accoglienza.

Jubilee2025: 100 Nativity Scenes in the Vatican

A handful of days before the start of Jubilee2025, the international exhibition “100 Nativity Scenes in the Vatican” is inaugurated.

The exhibition offers visitors nativity scenes from every corner of the world, each created according to different cultures. The various nativity scene artists participating in the initiative have created the nativity scene according to their own feelings and many of the works presented have as their common thread the hope that does not disappoint, the title of the Bull of Indiction of the Holy Year.

The nativity scene exhibition is part of the important exhibition Jubilee is culture.

The exhibition ‘100 Nativity Scenes in the Vatican’ was set up in the left colonnade of Bernini, in St. Peter’s Square. It will be accessible to all and will be inaugurated on Sunday 8 December at 4 pm.

Monsignor Rino Fisichella, pro-prefect of the Dicastery for Evangelization, and responsible for organizing the Jubilee, will inaugurate the exhibition, together with some members of the Dicastery and a representative of the Municipality of Rome Capital, in collaboration with which the Exhibition was created.

As mentioned before, entry will always be free and will continue until 7:30 pm on 6 January.

The exhibition will be open every day, from 10:00 to 19:30, except for December 24 and December 31, when the closing time will be brought forward to 17:00.

The last entry is always scheduled no later than 15 minutes before closing time. The Volunteers of the Dicastery for Evangelization will be present for the entire duration of the event to offer a reception service.
