A partire da luglio il Museo dell’Opificio delle Pietre Dure amplia la sua offerta culturale con una serie di aperture straordinarie pomeridiane e serali.
Le aperture straordinarie sono programmate nei venerdì sera dei giorni 12 e 26 luglio; 2 e 30 agosto; 13 settembre sera (ore 19:00-23:00); ed in tutti i giovedì pomeriggio di settembre e ottobre (5, 12, 19, 26 settembre; 3, 10, 17, 24, 31 ottobre – ore 14:00-18:00).
Le varie aperture straordinarie del Museo saranno quest’anno arricchite da eventi musicali organizzati in collaborazione con il Conservatorio Luigi Cherubini, con il coro Musica Harmonica e con altri interlocutori.
Si inizia l’apertura serale del 12 luglio, nel corso della quale il coro dell’Associazione Musica Harmonica propone il concerto: Rinascimento e polifonia. Percorso attraverso la musica polifonica europea del Quattrocento e Cinquecento, con brevi performances dal suo repertorio a cappella per sei componenti: Nada Jagodic e Antonella Lorenzi (soprani), Silvia Tazzari (contralto), Giovanni Beccheroni (tenore). Roberto Iraso e Antonio Muti (bassi). Dirige il Maestro Antonio Muti.
Inoltre nel corso delle aperture straordinarie che si terranno nei giovedì pomeriggio di settembre e ottobre saranno organizzate visite guidate gratuite condotte dai professionisti che operano nell’Istituto, sede di prestigiosi laboratori di restauro e della Scuola di Alta Formazione e Studio, che illustreranno ai visitatori le opere esposte nel Museo, testimonianza della tradizione del “commesso” in pietre dure e della storia dell’Opificio.
Per l’accesso al Museo è richiesto il pagamento del biglietto di ingresso (intero 6 €, ridotto 2 €, gratuito per gli aventi diritto). La biglietteria chiude 30 minuti prima dell’orario di chiusura del Museo. La visita guidata al Museo è gratuita, per gruppi di circa 20 persone, con partenza ogni ora. Non è prevista la prenotazione: sarà sufficiente richiedere di essere inseriti nei gruppi per la visita guidata direttamente sul posto.

Aperture straordinarie del Museo. Biglietto di ingresso e informazioni per le visite guidate
Il costo del biglietto di ingresso al Museo osserverà le tariffe ordinarie (intero 6 €, ridotto 2 €, gratuito per gli aventi diritto. La visita guidata è gratuita.
La biglietteria del Museo chiude mezz’ora prima (17.30 per le aperture pomeridiane, 22.30 per quelle serali).
Durante le aperture straordinarie del Museo nei giovedì pomeriggio sono previste visite guidate gratuite per gruppi di circa 20 persone, con partenza ogni ora circa. Non è prevista prenotazione per le visite guidate: gli interessati potranno richiedere di essere inseriti nei gruppi per la visita guidata direttamente sul posto contestualmente all’accesso.
Museum of the Opificio delle Pietre Dure: extraordinary openings and free guided tours. Details and times
Starting from July, the Opificio delle Pietre Dure Museum expands its cultural offering with a series of extraordinary afternoon and evening openings.
The extraordinary openings are scheduled for the Friday evenings of July 12th and 26th; 2 and 30 August; 13 September evening (7pm-11pm); and on every Thursday afternoon in September and October (5, 12, 19, 26 September; 3, 10, 17, 24, 31 October – 2.00pm-6.00pm).
The various extraordinary openings of the Museum will this year be enriched by musical events organized in collaboration with the Luigi Cherubini Conservatory, with the Musica Harmonica choir and with other interlocutors.
The evening opening begins on 12 July, during which the choir of the Musica Harmonica Association offers the concert: Renaissance and polyphony. Journey through the European polyphonic music of the fifteenth and sixteenth centuries, with short performances from his a cappella repertoire for six members: Nada Jagodic and Antonella Lorenzi (sopranos), Silvia Tazzari (contralto), Giovanni Beccheroni (tenor). Roberto Iraso and Antonio Muti (bass). Maestro Antonio Muti conducts.
Furthermore, during the extraordinary openings which will be held on Thursday afternoons in September and October, free guided tours will be organized led by the professionals who work in the Institute, home to prestigious restoration laboratories and the School of Higher Education and Study, who will illustrate to visitors the works exhibited in the Museum, testimony to the tradition of the “salesman” in semi-precious stones and the history of the Opificio.
To access the Museum, payment of the entrance ticket is required (full €6, reduced €2, free for those entitled). The ticket office closes 30 minutes before the Museum closing time. The guided tour of the Museum is free, for groups of approximately 20 people, departing every hour. Reservations are not required: simply request to be included in the groups for the guided tour directly on site.

The cost of the entrance ticket to the Museum will observe the ordinary rates (full €6, reduced €2, free for those entitled. The guided tour is free.
The Museum ticket office closes half an hour earlier (5.30pm for afternoon openings, 10.30pm for evening openings).
During the extraordinary openings of the Museum on Thursday afternoons, free guided tours are scheduled for groups of around 20 people, departing approximately every hour. No reservations are required for guided tours: interested parties can request to be included in groups for the guided tour directly on site upon access.
