Il riquadro intero mostra non solo la Creazione delle piante ma una scena precedente, ovvero la Creazione degli astri che di fatto costituiscono la terza e la quarta giornata della Genesi.

Per trasporre i cartoni sull’intonaco ancora fresco, in questo caso specifico, adoperai la tecnica dell’incisione. Sicuramente meno precisa e dettagliata dello spolvero ma molto più rapida.

The entire panel shows not only the Creation of the plants but a previous scene, namely the Creation of the stars which in fact constitute the third and fourth day of Genesis.

To transpose the cartoons onto the still fresh plaster, in this specific case, I used the engraving technique. Definitely less precise and detailed than dusting but much faster.
