Michelangelo e il Potere: la nuova mostra a Palazzo Vecchio
A Palazzo Vecchio sta per aprire al pubblico una nuova mostra a me dedicata dal titolo ‘Michelangelo e il Potere’.
Dal 18 ottobre fino al 26 gennaio 2025 la mostra, curata da Cristina Acidini e Sergio Risaliti ,racconterà la mia relazione con il potere fiorentino e non solo.
Come è noto, i miei rapporti con Cosimo I non furono idilliaci e questo percorso espositivo promosso dal Comune di Firenze in collaborazione con Fondazione Casa Buonarroti e organizzato dalla Fondazione MUS.E. permetterà di approfondire meglio questo aspetto, nell’anno in cui si celebrano i 450 anni dalla sua morte.
Al momento non riesco a narrarvi altro a riguardo ma appena l’avrò visitata, vi scriverò in anteprima la recensione corredandola di un ricco portfolio.
A proposito, il progetto e la direzione dell’allestimento sono stati curati dall’architetto Guido Ciompi, in collaborazione con l’architetto Gianluca Conte dello studio Guido Ciompi & partners

Michelangelo and Power: the new exhibition at Palazzo Vecchio
A new exhibition dedicated to me is about to open to the public at Palazzo Vecchio, entitled ‘Michelangelo and Power’.
From 18 October to 26 January 2025, the exhibition, curated by Cristina Acidini and Sergio Risaliti, will tell the story of my relationship with Florentine power and beyond.
As is well known, my relationship with Cosimo I was not idyllic and this exhibition promoted by the Municipality of Florence in collaboration with the Casa Buonarroti Foundation and organized by the MUS.E. Foundation will allow us to delve deeper into this aspect, in the year in which we celebrate the 450th anniversary of his death.
At the moment I can’t tell you anything else about it, but as soon as I have visited it, I will write a preview of the review, accompanied by a rich portfolio.
By the way, the project and the direction of the installation were curated by the architect Guido Ciompi, in collaboration with the architect Gianluca Conte of the Guido Ciompi & partners studio.
