Cappelle Medicee: dal 1° settembre aperture straordinarie in notturna
Le Cappelle Medicee a Firenze apriranno le loro porte anche in notturna a partire dal 1° settembre.
Nel mese di settembre 2025 il Museo delle Cappelle Medicee offrirà ai visitatori la straordinaria opportunità di vivere in orario serale uno dei luoghi più iconici e suggestivi della città.
Il mausoleo della famiglia granducale con la sua grandiosa Cappella dei Principi rivestita di marmi policromi, e la Sagrestia Nuova che progettai e arricchii con le imponenti sculture, potranno essere ammirate dopo il calar del sole.
Le aperture serali straordinarie sono fissate per lunedì 1, 8, 15, 22 e 29 settembre, quando il museo sarà aperto con orario continuato dalle 8:15 fino alle 22.50 (ultimo ingresso 40 minuti prima della chiusura). In tutte le altre giornate il museo manterrà l’orario ordinario, dalle 8.15 alle 18.50, con chiusura settimanale il martedì.
Inoltre, sabato 27 e domenica 28 settembre, in occasione delle GEP – Giornate Europee del Patrimonio, coordinate dal Ministero della Cultura, è in programma un’apertura prolungata delle Cappelle Medicee, del Museo Nazionale del Bargello (entrambi il 27 settembre dalle 8:15 alle 21.50) e del Complesso di Orsanmichele (domenica 28 settembre, dalle 8:30 alle 17:50).

Medici Chapels: Special Night Openings Starting September 1st
The Medici Chapels in Florence will open their doors during the night starting September 1st.
In September 2025, the Medici Chapels Museum will offer visitors the extraordinary opportunity to experience one of the city’s most iconic and evocative sites in the evening.
The mausoleum of the grand ducal family, with its magnificent Chapel of the Princes clad in polychrome marble, and the New Sacristy, which I designed and enriched with imposing sculptures, can be admired after sunset.
The special evening openings are scheduled for Mondays, September 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, and 29th, when the museum will be open continuously from 8:15 a.m. to 10:50 p.m. (last admission 40 minutes before closing). On all other days, the museum will maintain its regular hours, from 8:15 a.m. to 6:50 p.m., with a weekly closure on Tuesdays.
In addition, on Saturday, September 27th and Sunday, September 28th, in celebration of the European Heritage Days (EHD), coordinated by the Ministry of Culture, the Medici Chapels, the Bargello National Museum (both on September 27th, from 8:15 a.m. to 9:50 p.m.), and the Orsanmichele Complex (Sunday, September 28th, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:50 p.m.) will be open longer.
