A Roma sta per arrivare un percorso espositivo che metterà in relazione pittura e poesia, il sacro e il profano.

La mostra “Pittura e poesia nel Seicento. Giovan Battista Marino e la ‘meravigliosa’ passione” avrà luogo alla Galleria Borghese dal 19 novembre 2024 al 9 febbraio 2025.

Sarà un’importante opportunità per esplorare le profonde connessioni tra la poesia e la pittura, nonché il dialogo tra il sacro e il profano, elementi centrali nella produzione artistica e letteraria dell’epoca barocca.

Il protagonista della mostra è Giovan Battista Marino, grande poeta italiano del Seicento, celebre per il suo poema epico “Adone” e la sua raccolta di poesie “La Galeria”.

Marino è considerato una figura di spicco del suo tempo, capace di influenzare sia il panorama letterario sia quello artistico.
