Museo degli Innocenti di Firenze: in arrivo la mostra ‘Impressionisti in Normandia. Monet, Bonnard, Corot, Courbet’
Il Museo degli Innocenti si sta preparando per accogliere la prossima grande mostra dedicata agli Impressionisti.
Per sei mesi consecutivi potremmo ammirare nelle sue sale un percorso espositivo che ci farà immergere nel mondo di Monet, Bonnard, Courbet e Corot.
I paesaggi della Normandia e le sue atmosfere affascinarono i grandi artisti dell’Impressionismo che vollero immortalare quei colori quelle falesie modellate dal vento e le acque sulle loro tele. Quella piccola penisola che si protende nella Manica divenne per loro fonte inesauribile di ispirazione.
Dal 22 novembre 2024 fino al 4 maggio 2025, per celebrare i 150 anni dalla nascita del movimento, la mostra Impressionisti in Normandia. Monet, Bonnard, Corot, Courbet proporrà le sperimentazioni di luce e colore di questi artisti.
Passando da una sezione all’altra si potrà effettuare un vero e proprio viaggio fra i paesaggi della Normandia che divennero fondamentali per la storia dell’Impressionismo.
Fra le opere esposte saranno presenti capolavori come le Falesie a Dieppe di Delacroix, La spiaggia a Trouville di Courbet ma anche opere di Renoir come il celeberrimo Tramonto, veduta di Guernesey e dipinti di Monet, Corot, Bonnard e molti altri.

The Museo degli Innocenti is preparing to host the next major exhibition dedicated to the Impressionists. For six months we will be able to admire in its rooms an exhibition itinerary that will immerse us in the world of Monet, Bonnard, Courbet and Corot.
The landscapes of Normandy and its atmospheres fascinated the great artists of Impressionism who wanted to immortalize those colors and those cliffs shaped by the wind and the water on their canvases. That small peninsula that juts out into the Channel became for them an inexhaustible source of inspiration.
From November 22, 2024 to May 4, 2025, to celebrate the 150th anniversary of the birth of the movement, the exhibition Impressionists in Normandy. Monet, Bonnard, Corot, Courbet will propose the experiments with light and color of these artists.
Moving from one section to another, you can take a real journey through the landscapes of Normandy that became fundamental to the history of Impressionism.
Among the works on display there will be masterpieces such as the Cliffs at Dieppe by Delacroix, The Beach at Trouville by Courbet but also works by Renoir such as the famous Sunset, view of Guernsey and paintings by Monet, Corot, Bonnard and many others.
