Fondazione Canova: Sgarbi rimosso dalla presidenza
Dopo la messa in onda del servizio Art Discount di Report andato in onda il 28 gennaio che proponeva la storia del Valentin de Boulogne sotto sequestro per esportazione illecita, il sindaco di Possagno Valerio Favero annuncia che Vittorio Sgarbi non sarà più presidente della Fondazione Canova.
“Abbiamo prorogato questo cda per chiudere le manifestazioni canoviane, ma ho comunicato già a dicembre a Sgarbi la decisione di non procedere nel rinnovo del suo incarico. Una scelta maturata prima dell’inchiesta, ma senza dubbio quanto visto in televisione è tutt’altro che edificante”,

La decisione è stata annunciata dopo che il sottosegretario alla cultura, durante l’inchiesta andata in onda su RaiTre, ha insultato pesantemente sia il giornalista autore del servizio Manuele Bonaccorsi che il conduttore della trasmissione Ranucci.
Non solo.
Sgarbi, direttamente dagli ambienti della Cavallerizza di Lucca che al momento ospitano la mostra da lui curata dal titolo “Antonio Canova e il Neoclassicismo a Lucca”, si è sbottonato la patta dei pantaloni minacciando di mostrare il membro dinanzi alle telecamere. Un comportamento non certo degno di un rappresentante delle istituzioni.
La scelta del sindaco di Possagno viene anche confermata da Giancarlo Cunial, collaboratore della Fondazione Canova per 21 anni, dal 2001 fino al 2022.

Canova Foundation: Sgarbi removed from presidency
