La Galleria dell’Accademia di Firenze prolunga l’orario abituale di apertura tutti i martedì e i giovedì sera.

A partire dal 13 giugno fino al 31 ottobre, il martedì sarà possibile visitare il museo fino alle ore 22.00 con ultimo ingresso previsto per le 21.30 mentre il giovedì rimarrà aperto fino alle ore 21 con ultimo ingresso previsto per le 20.30.

L’iniziativa che già ha avuto luogo con un ottimo riscontro da parte del pubblico negli anni precedenti, consentirà di diluire il pubblico su una fascia oraria più ampia durante i mesi di affluenza massima.

Una buona occasione per ammirare le opere in notturna, dopo il calare del sole e per andare a vedere il recente acquisto del busto di Napoleone, uno dei tanti che vennero realizzati in serie dal Bartolini e dalla sua bottega.

Perdersi fra le sale della Galleria dell’Accademia senza alcuna fretta è sempre un piacere, iniziando dalla Sala del Colosso in cui la fa da padrone il modello a grandezza naturale in terra cruda del Ratto delle Sabine del Giambologna e proseguendo alla scoperta degli altri tesori custoditi come il Cassone Adimari dello Scheggia, fratello di Masaccio.

Segnatevi date e orari dunque e non perdete l’opportunità di visitare la Galleria dell’Accademia anche in notturna.

Galleria dell’Accademia: extends the opening hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays

The Galleria dell’Accademia in Florence extends its usual opening hours every Tuesday and Thursday night.

Starting from 13 June until 31 October, on Tuesdays it will be possible to visit the museum until 10.00 pm with last admission scheduled for 9.30 pm while on Thursdays it will remain open until 9 pm with last admission scheduled for 8.30 pm.

The initiative, which has already taken place with an excellent response from the public in previous years, will allow the public to be spread over a wider time slot during the months of maximum turnout.

A good opportunity to admire the works at night, after sunset and to go and see the recent purchase of the bust of Napoleon, one of the many that were mass-produced by Bartolini and his workshop.

Getting lost in the rooms of the Galleria dell’Accademia without any hurry is always a pleasure, starting from the Sala del Colossus where the life-size raw earth sketch of the Rape of the Sabine women by Giambologna is the master and continuing to discover the other treasures kept such as Cassone Adimari by Scheggia, brother of Masaccio.
