Il 2109 si appresta a divenire un anno importante per il Giardino di Boboli. Sono diverse e molto interessanti le novità che lo riguardano da vicino come il riassetto del verde, un ampio piano di restauri, l’istallazione di panchine nuove e l’apertura del giardino esotico di Botanica Superiore che verrà effettuata quotidianamente. Inoltre è prevista l’apertura di una gelateria in stile mediceo.

Il Giardino di Boboli è di per sé una meraviglia ma si appresta a divenire ancora più appetibile per chi abbia intenzione di visitarlo. grazie ai numerosi interventi che sono stati effettuati da poco o che verranno effettuati nel corso dei prossimi mesi.

Il Giardino di Botanica Superiore, più noto ce il giardino degli Ananassi, si estende per un ettaro e raccoglie un gran numero di piante acquatiche subtropicali e tropicali. E’ stato sottoposto a un lungo intervento di restauro che ha interesasto sia la parte architetotnica che quella botanica. Adesso è di nuovo fruibile e apre al pubblico dal lunedì al venerdì, dalle ore 9 alle 13.

Le sculture presenti del giardino verranno restaurate poco a poco come è stato fatto per Pudicizia e Hera. A breve inziieranno i lavori di ristrutturazione dei bagni della Meridiana e di annalena. Si prevede anche di avviare un grande progetto che mette al centro il Giardino segreto delle Camelie. Fino al momento non è mai stato aperto al pubblico quotidianamente ma lo sarà in futuro, a lavori ultimati ovvero si presume dopo il 2021.

Il Giardino di Boboli vanta centinaia di alberi plurisecolari che attualmente sono sotot monitoraggio per verificarne la loro stabilità e stato di salute. I filari alberati storici negli anni hanno subito importanti perdite che presto verranno rimpiazzate con 53 cipressi e 25 platani.

Un altro importante progetto è quello del restauro della Kaffehaus che venne costruita nel 1776 su progetto di Zanobi il Rosso. Diverrà un punto di ristoro accessibile a tutti quelli che visiteranno il Giardino di Boboli. Intanto si pensa ad aprire la Gelateria Buontalenti che porterà il nome dell’artista che non solo progettò la Grotta Grande del Giardino ma che si inventò in pieno Rinascimento il celeberrimo dolce ghiacciato. La Gelateria Buontalenti verrà inserita nella parte alta, all’interno di un edificio di costruzione ottocentesca.

The Garden of Superior Botany, better known as the garden of the Ananassi, extends for one hectare and contains a large number of subtropical and tropical aquatic plants. He underwent a long restoration that involved both the architectural and the botanical part. Now it is usable again and opens to the public from Monday to Friday, from 9am to 1pm.

The present sculptures of the garden will be restored little by little as was done for Pudicizia and Hera. Soon the renovation of the Meridiana and Annalena bathrooms will begin. It is also planned to launch a major project that focuses on the Secret Garden of the Camellias. Until now it has never been opened to the public on a daily basis but it will be open in the future, when work is completed or it is assumed after 2021.

The Boboli Gardens boasts hundreds of centuries-old trees that are currently monitored to verify their stability and state of health. The historic tree-lined rows over the years have suffered major losses that will soon be replaced with 53 cypresses and 25 plane trees.
