Le mostre d’arte da non perdere nel 2025: Leonardo da Vinci, Beato Angelico, Gentileschi e tanti altri
Il 2025 è già iniziato e già si parla delle mostre che verranno aperte al pubblico durante questo anno.
Qualche nome illustre? Da Leonardo da Vinci a Orazio Gentileschi, da una mostra che coinvolgerà anche me all’esposizione dedicata a Guido Reni ma anche la grande mostra dedicata agli autoritratti ai Musei di San Domenico a Forlì con tanti protagonisti.
Vediamo assieme dunque quali saranno le mostre in Italia del 2025.
La grande mostra del Beato Angelico a Palazzo Strozzi
Sarà una di quelle esposizioni imperdibili, una monografica ricca di capolavori provenienti da ogni dove come lo è stata quella di Donatello e com’è quella del Barocci ancora in corso.
Dal 26 settembre 2025 al 25 gennaio 2026, la Fondazione Palazzo Strozzi presenterà il percorso espositivo dal titolo Angelico, un importante progetto dedicato a Fra Giovanni, più noto alle cronache proprio come Beato Angelico.
Artista simbolo della pittura del Quattrocento a Firenze, il Beato Angelico morì il 18 febbraio del 1455 e il prossimo anno saranno 570 dalla sua dipartita.
L’esposizione avrà due sedi: Palazzo Strozzi e il Museo di San Marco dove sono presenti un gran numero di suoi affreschi.
Il Ritratto dell’Artista. Nello specchio di Narciso. Il volto, la maschera, il selfie
Dopo il grande successo della mostra dedicata ai Preraffaeliti, il Museo Civico di San Domenico di Forlì si prepara a ospitare un’altra grande esposizione che avrà come filo conduttore i ritratti degli artisti: “Il Ritratto dell’Artista. Nello specchio di Narciso. Il volto, la maschera, il selfie”.
Da Botticelli, Perugino, Dürer, Hayez a Tiziano a Rembrandt, Van Gogh, Frida Khano, da De Chirico a Warhol ma arriverà in mostra anche un mio preziosissimo disegno.
Biblioteca Reale di Torino. Mostra dedicata alla descrizione della natura e del mondo tra il Trecento e la fine del Cinquecento
Sarà Leonardo da Vinci il protagonista della mostra che aprirà i battenti al pubblico dal 18 aprile al 13 luglio con una cospicua selezione dei suoi disegni ma anche lavori di Andrea Mantegna, Francesco di Giorgio Martini, Albrecht Dürer e Jacopo Ligozzi.
L’esposizione sarà curata di Claudio Giorgione e Giuseppina Mussari e realizzata in collaborazione con il Museo della Scienza e della Tecnologia di Milano. Proporrà il patrimonio grafico e librario di importanti musei e biblioteche sia italiane che estere quali la Galleria degli Uffizi, la Biblioteca Nazionale Centrale e la Biblioteca Mediceo Laurenziana di Firenze, la Biblioteca Casanatense di Roma e l’Albertina Museum di Vienna.
Orazio Gentileschi. Un pittore in viaggio
L’autunno aprirà con una mostra allestita nelle Sale Chiablese dei Musei Reali di Torino che avrà come protagonista Orazio Gentileschi, curata da Annamaria Bava e Gelsomina Spione.
L’esposizione ripercorrerà le principali tappe degli spostamenti che Gentileschi effettuò durante la sua vita. La mostra permetterà di apprezzare anche la grande pala dell’Annunciazione risalente al 1623, realizzata per il duca di Savoia e ritenuta da tutta la critica uno dei cardini della sua produzione.
Il divino Guido Reni nelle collezioni sabaude
Sempre in autunno, in occasione dei 450 anni dalla nascita di Guido Reni sarà proposta la mostra Il “divino” Guido Reni nelle collezioni sabaude, a cura di Annamaria Bava e Sofia Villano.
La mostra sarà allestita nei Musei Reali di Torino e sarà l’occasione per proporre al pubblico la pittura classicista bolognese.
Dalì e la moda
Palazzo Reale di Milano, da settembre 2025 a gennaio 2026 proporrà un’esposizione dedicata a Salvador Dalì e alla moda. Sarà proprio l’eccentricità dell’artista surrealista e il suo rapporto con la moda ad essere posto al centro della scena.
La moda è forse uno dei campi meno familiari in cui Dalì ha incarnato il suo universo artistico eppure è uno dei contributi più prolifici dell’artista in tutte le fasi della sua carriera. Un’occasione unica per ammirare e avere una visione d’insieme della sorprendente complessità di Salvador Dalì e in parte anche della sua opera di genio eclettico.

The great exhibition of Beato Angelico at Palazzo Strozzi
It will be one of those unmissable exhibitions, a monographic exhibition full of masterpieces from all over, like the one by Donatello and the one by Barocci, still underway.
From 26 September 2025 to 25 January 2026, the Fondazione Palazzo Strozzi will present the exhibition entitled Angelico, an important project dedicated to Fra Giovanni, better known in the chronicles as Beato Angelico.
An artist who was a symbol of 15th-century painting in Florence, Beato Angelico died on 18 February 1455 and next year will mark 570 years since his passing.
The exhibition will have two locations: Palazzo Strozzi and the Museo di San Marco where a large number of his frescoes are present.
The Portrait of the Artist. In the Mirror of Narcissus. The Face, the Mask, the Selfie
After the great success of the exhibition dedicated to the Pre-Raphaelites, the Museo Civico di San Domenico in Forlì is preparing to host another large exhibition that will have the portraits of artists as its common thread: “The Portrait of the Artist. In the Mirror of Narcissus. The Face, the Mask, the Selfie”.
From Botticelli, Perugino, Dürer, Hayez to Titian to Rembrandt, Van Gogh, Frida Kahno, from De Chirico to Warhol, but one of my very precious drawings will also be on display.
Royal Library of Turin. Exhibition dedicated to the description of nature and the world between the 14th and the end of the 16th century
Leonardo da Vinci will be the protagonist of the exhibition that will open its doors to the public from April 18th to July 13th with a large selection of his drawings but also works by Andrea Mantegna, Francesco di Giorgio Martini, Albrecht Dürer and Jacopo Ligozzi.
The exhibition will be curated by Claudio Giorgione and Giuseppina Mussari and created in collaboration with the Museum of Science and Technology in Milan. It will present the graphic and book heritage of important Italian and foreign museums and libraries such as the Uffizi Gallery, the National Central Library and the Biblioteca Mediceo Laurenziana in Florence, the Casanatense Library in Rome and the Albertina Museum in Vienna.
Orazio Gentileschi. A painter on the move
The autumn will open with an exhibition set up in the Chiablese Rooms of the Royal Museums of Turin featuring Orazio Gentileschi, curated by Annamaria Bava and Gelsomina Spione.
The exhibition will retrace the main stages of the travels that Gentileschi made during his life. The exhibition will also allow us to appreciate the large altarpiece of the Annunciation dating back to 1623, created for the Duke of Savoy and considered by all critics to be one of the cornerstones of his production.
The Divine Guido Reni in the Savoy Collections
Also in autumn, on the occasion of the 450th anniversary of Guido Reni’s birth, the exhibition The “Divine” Guido Reni in the Savoy Collections will be presented, curated by Annamaria Bava and Sofia Villano.
The exhibition will be set up in the Royal Museums of Turin and will be an opportunity to introduce the public to Bolognese classicist painting.
Dalì and Fashion
Palazzo Reale in Milan, from September 2025 to January 2026 will propose an exhibition dedicated to Salvador Dalì and fashion. It will be precisely the eccentricity of the surrealist artist and his relationship with fashion that will be placed at the center of the scene.
Fashion is perhaps one of the least familiar fields in which Dalì embodied his artistic universe and yet it is one of the artist’s most prolific contributions in all phases of his career. A unique opportunity to admire and have an overall vision of the surprising complexity of Salvador Dalì and partly also of his work of eclectic genius.
