Goya: la ribellione della ragione in mostra a Milano
Palazzo Reale a Milano sta per inaugurare una nuova mostra dedicata all’intero percorso artistico dell’artista spagnolo Francisco José de Goya y Lucientes dal titolo “Goya. La ribellione della ragione“.
La mostra aprirà i battenti al pubblico dal 31 ottobre 2023 al 3 marzo 2024 e sarà l’occasione per approfondire il percorso artistico di Goya che si è sviluppato un un periodo storico denso di avvenimenti politici e di cambiamenti epocali ideologici e sociali.
Francisco Goya ebbe modo di vivere durante la fine dell’Antico Regime, di assaporare il momento dell’Illuminismo e della Rivoluzione Francese, attraversò le guerre napoleoniche, la restaurazione assolutista e l’esilio.
Tutti quegli eventi influirono sulla sua arte e non mancò di sperimentare con la pittura le epoche attraversate per esprimere per immagini ciò che il suo animo suggeriva.
Il percorso espositivo “Goya. La ribellione della ragione” è suddiviso in sette sezioni tematiche distinte che permettono di affrontare tutte le tematiche proposte nei dipinti dell’artista.
La mostra, curata da Victor Nieto Alcaide, è stata resa possibile grazie alla collaborazione con la Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando.

Goya: the rebellion of reason on display in Milan
Palazzo Reale in Milan is about to inaugurate a new exhibition dedicated to the entire artistic career of the Spanish artist Francisco José de Goya y Lucientes entitled “Goya. The rebellion of reason“.
The exhibition will open its doors to the public from 31 October 2023 to 3 March 2024 and will be an opportunity to explore Goya’s artistic career which developed in a historical period full of political events and epochal ideological and social changes.
Francisco Goya had the opportunity to live during the end of the Old Regime, to savor the moment of the Enlightenment and the French Revolution, he went through the Napoleonic wars, the absolutist restoration and exile.
All those events influenced his art and he did not fail to experiment with painting the eras crossed to express in images what his soul suggested.
The exhibition itinerary “Goya. The rebellion of reason “is divided into seven distinct thematic sections that allow you to address all the themes proposed in the artist’s paintings.
The exhibition, curated by Victor Nieto Alcaide, was made possible thanks to the collaboration with the Real Academia de Bellas Artes de San Fernando.
