L’edizione di quest’anno del Carnevale di Viareggio consegna una classifica ricca di sorprese, rilanci clamorosi e retrocessioni eccellenti. Classifica Carri di Prima Categoria 2026: trionfa Luca Bertozzi

È l’anno del Lupo. Con “In bocca al lupo”, Luca Bertozzi conquista la sua seconda vittoria tra i carri grandi. La sua rilettura “buonista” di Cappuccetto Rosso strega il pubblico e convince le giurie, tutte straniere.

Un successo che sa di rinascita: dopo l’ultimo posto dello scorso anno e una stagione turbolenta che lo aveva portato persino a meditare il ritiro, Bertozzi torna in vetta e rilancia la sua carriera.

Sorpresa Bonetti, retrocede Vannucci

Secondo posto a sorpresa per Luigi Bonetti con “I samurai del potere”, premiato anche come opera più brillante. Un argento pesantissimo che gli consente di salvarsi per un soffio grazie al sorpasso su Roberto Vannucci, ultimo con “Io vivo in questo momento”, e dunque retrocesso tra i carri piccoli.

Terzo gradino del podio per la satira politica di Alessandro Avanzini con “La gallina dalle uova d’oro”, a conferma che l’allegoria politica continua a convincere.

Le posizioni che fanno discutere

Quarto posto per Jacopo Allegrucci con “Nel campo dei miracoli”, che però si consola con il primo posto nella classifica triennale 2024/2026 e il Premio Speciale Arnaldo Galli.

Destinati a far discutere il sesto posto per Lebigre & Roger e il settimo posto per i Cinquini con “Nemmeno con un fiore”, tra i favoriti alla vigilia.

This year’s edition of the Viareggio Carnival delivers a ranking full of surprises, sensational revivals, and notable relegations. 2026 First Category Float Rankings: Luca Bertozzi triumphs

It’s the Year of the Wolf. With “In bocca al lupo,” Luca Bertozzi wins his second victory among the large floats. His “good-natured” reinterpretation of Little Red Riding Hood captivates the audience and convinces the juries, all of whom are foreign.

A success that feels like a rebirth: after last year’s last-place finish and a turbulent season that had him even contemplating retirement, Bertozzi returns to the top and relaunches his career.

Bonetti Surprises, Vannucci Relegated

A surprising second place went to Luigi Bonetti with “I Samurai del potere,” also awarded as the most brilliant work. A weighty silver medal allowed him to narrowly escape the competition, overtaking Roberto Vannucci, who finished last with “Io vivo in questo momento” (I Live in This Moment), and was therefore relegated to the smaller ranks.
