In occasione del centesimo anniversario del Museo Stefano Bardini ha avuto inizio il restauro del dipinto di “San Michele Arcangelo che abbatte il drago”, un’opera di straordinario valore artistico realizzata da Piero del Pollaiolo.

Questo intervento di restauro è particolarmente rilevante poiché il dipinto non è solo espressione artistica e culturale di un’epoca ma anche una testimonianza della storia di Firenze e della sua tradizione artistica.

Il restauro è stato reso possibile grazie a una generosa donazione di 20mila euro da parte della Fondazione Friends of Florence, l’organizzazione che si dedica attivamente alla salvaguardia e valorizzazione del patrimonio artistico e culturale della città.
