La scultura del giorno che vi propongo è la Melodia Dimenticata dell’artista cinese Luo Li Rong.

Un’opera in bronzo contemporanea caratterizzata da una prorompente sensualità e da quell’abito panneggiato che sembra trasparente, movimentato dal vento.

Luo Li Rong è una scultrice nata in Cina nel 1980. Ha avuto modo di intraprendere il proprio percorso artistico presso la Beijing Central Academy of Art di Pechino.

Dopo aver conseguito la laurea ha cominciato a lavorare nello studio di Zon Jibao per perfezionare le sue conoscenze e personalizzare sempre di più il proprio stile figurativo.

Nel 2005 si è trasferita in Francia e dal 2006 lavora e risiede stabilmente a Bruxelles, in Belgio. 

Celebre in tutto il mondo, Luo Li Rong oggi si dedica soprattutto alla realizzazione di opere in bronzo a soggetto femminile. Le sue donne eteree e sensuali sembra siano sempre impegnate in qualche passo di danza o con abiti e capelli mossi dal vento.

Colpiscono in modo particolare le movenze sinuose dei suoi soggetti e le vesti drappeggiate che non coprono i corpi ma anzi ne esaltano forme e pose.

Se vi capita di vedere opere online attribuite a lei che possono sembrare in marmo, diffidate sempre.

Spesso sono frutto di AI e basta osservarle bene per rendersene conto. Luo Li Rong infatti non lavora questo materiale ma modella in argilla per poi far realizzare i suoi lavori i n fonderia.

Al momento l’artista Luo Li Rong lavora sia per committenze pubbliche che private e all’attivo ha diversi lavori realizzati in occasione dei giochi olimpici di Pechino del 2008.

Oltre alla scultura della Melodia DImenticata, Luo Li Rong espone in tutto il mondo le sue opere eteree che sembrano sostenute più dal vento che dalle leggi della dinamica.

Poetiche e all’apparenza leggerissime, le sculture in bronzo dell’artista cinese suscitano sempre un grande riscontro da parte del pubblico.

The sculpture of the day that I propose is the Forgotten Melody by the Chinese artist Luo Li Rong.

A contemporary bronze work characterized by an irrepressible sensuality and by that draped dress that seems transparent, moved by the wind.

Luo Li Rong is a sculptor born in 1980 who had the opportunity to undertake her artistic career at the Beijing Central Academy of Art in Beijing.

After graduating, she began working in Zon Jibao’s studio to perfect her knowledge of her and increasingly personalize her own figurative style.

In 2005 she moved to France and since 2006 she has been working and residing permanently in Brussels, Belgium.

Famous all over the world, Luo Li Rong today is mainly dedicated to the creation of bronze works with female subjects. Her ethereal and sensual women seem to always be engaged in some dance step or with clothes and hair blowing in the wind.

The elegant movements of her subjects and the draped garments that do not cover the bodies but rather enhance their shapes and poses are particularly striking.

At the moment the artist Luo Li Rong works for both public and private commissions and to her credit she has several works created for the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.

In addition to the Forgotten Melody sculpture, Luo Li Rong exhibits around the world her ethereal works that seem to be supported more by the wind than by the laws of dynamics.

Poetic and apparently very light, the bronze sculptures of the Chinese artist always arouse a great response from the public.
