The marble and Pietrasanta are an indissoluble couple for several years. Artisans and artists work every day to create beauty in the broadest sense of the word.
I found this beautiful video on the net where you will hear about three different people who have made marble a reason for living. Too bad it is said that I too will use the marble from the quarries of the area to make my sculptures: it’s not really like that. It is true that between Pietrasanta and Seravezza I worked there for three years but none of my works was done with those marbles … the matter is long and I was able to explain it in other posts.
I invite you to watch this short but intense video to discover a world that maybe you do not know so closely. Good Vision, your always Michelangelo Buonarroti
