L’ultima opera di Banksy è stata cancellata a colpi di spazzola dalla facciata del palazzo della Royal Courts of Justice, nel cuore di Londra.

Il murales di Banksy comparso all’improvviso qualche giorno fa, raffigurava un giudice con tanto di parrucca riccioluta e toga nera mentre colpisce con un martello un manifestante già steso a terra.

Il giovane manifestante stringe in mano un cartello, già intriso di sangue.

L’opera in questione era riferita alle proteste a favore della Palestina che in questi giorni sono stati arretati 900 manifestanti che si opponevano alla messa al bando del gruppo di protesta Palestine Action.

La censura non è mai cosa saggia.

La BBC ha riferito che l’opera sarebbe stata rimossa e dall’alto del Tribunale interessato dall’opera realizzata sul suo muro esterno, è stato detto che la Royal Courts of Justice ha sede in un edificio storico.

Fatto sta che adesso, del murales di Banksy che tanto ha fatto discutere per giorni, adesso non ne rimane traccia se non in chi ha avuto la buona sorte di vederlo di persona o di fotografarlo.

Banksy’s latest work has been scrubbed from the facade of the Royal Courts of Justice building in the heart of London.
Banksy’s mural, which suddenly appeared a few days ago, depicted a judge, complete with a curly wig and black robe, striking a protester on the ground with a hammer.

The young protester is holding a sign, already soaked in blood.

The artwork in question referred to the pro-Palestine protests, during which 900 protesters were arrested in recent days for opposing the banning of the protest group Palestine Action.

Censorship is never wise.

The BBC reported that the work had been removed, and from above the courthouse where the artwork was painted on its exterior wall, it was noted that the Royal Courts of Justice is housed in a historic building.
