The Mona Lisa still under attack: thrown soaked onto the protective glass
Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa, also known as Mona Lisa, this morning once again found itself dealing with climate activists and their very questionable actions.
One of the most famous paintings in the world which attracts thousands of tourists every year has been the subject of vandalism several times over the years.
The latest dates back to May 29, 2022, when a boy threw a cream cake at him. Two women, filmed during their attack which lasted about two minutes, deliberately threw the work, fortunately protected by bulletproof glass, at it. an orange colored soup and then they disappeared.
During the vandalism one of them shouted «What is more important? Art or the right to a healthy and lasting diet? Our agricultural system is sick. There are people who are destroying the Earth. All artists, think of the Earth. That’s why I did it. Think about the planet”
After the crime, the management of the Louvre Museum evacuated the room in which Leonardo’s precious painting is located, starting the cleaning operation immediately.
Although the issues proposed by climate activists are very important, I still think that the way of protesting is completely harmful and useless to the cause.
For the moment, your Michelangelo Buonarroti greets you and will meet you in future posts and on social media.
