Il Forte di Belvedere, imponente struttura storica di Firenze, riaprirà ufficialmente al pubblico il 24 giugno 2025, in concomitanza con le celebrazioni dedicate alla festa di San Giovanni, patrono della città.

La gestione del Forte sarà affidata alla Fondazione MUS.E, che ha in programma di trasformare questo luogo iconico in un centro culturale attivo e vivace, in grado di unire armoniosamente storia, arte, musica e intrattenimento.

La riapertura del Forte verrà celebrata con un evento speciale che culminerà in un concerto dell’Orchestra della Toscana, previsto per le 21:30 della stessa serata. La caffetteria panoramica Belvedere Firenze riaprirà invece il 30 giugno, operando ogni giorno, non solo durante il giorno, ma estendendo il servizio anche dopo l’orario di apertura del museo, offrendo così un luogo perfetto per godere di una vista mozzafiato sulla città mentre si assapora un caffè o un aperitivo.

Durante la stagione estiva del 2025, il Forte sarà il palcoscenico di una rassegna musicale intitolata “Forte in Musica”, che si terrà ogni mercoledì al tramonto. Questa serie di concerti vedrà esibirsi vari artisti, coprendo generi musicali differenti e promettendo di arricchire l’offerta culturale della città. Inoltre, sarà realizzata una serie di talk sotto il titolo L’attualità del bello, con l’intervento di esperti del settore culturale, artistico e architettonico, che discuteranno temi rilevanti legati alla bellezza e al patrimonio culturale.

Per i più giovani e le famiglie, il Forte offrirà visite guidate e laboratori, ideati per coinvolgere bambini, ragazzi e adulti in attività educative e divertenti. Il progetto Firenze Forma Continua si propone di far conoscere e vivere l’eredità culturale di Firenze in tutte le sue forme, spesando eventi speciali dedicati a diversi pubblici.

Il Forte di Belvedere sarà accessibile dal martedì alla domenica, con orari che vanno dalle 10:00 alle 20:00. Per quanto riguarda i biglietti, l’ingresso sarà gratuito per i residenti di Firenze, mentre per gli altri visitatori sarà previsto un costo di 5 € per il biglietto intero e 3 € per il ridotto.

 Eccezionalmente, il 24 giugno sarà possibile fruire gratuitamente delle proposte Forme di città, alle h17 per famiglie con bambini, alle h18.30 per adulti: prenotazione obbligatoria info@musefirenze.it 055-0541450.

Il Forte Belvedere sarà aperto dal martedì alla domenica, dalle ore 10 alle ore 20 (ultimo ingresso alle ore 19). Sarà possibile acquistare i biglietti per il Museo di Forte Belvedere e giardini di Forte Belvedere;

L’accesso al Forte Belvedere sarà gratuito per i residenti della Città Metropolitana di Firenze, mentre sarà a pagamento per tutti gli altri visitatori (biglietto intero 5 €; ridotto 3 €). L’accesso alla sola caffetteria e agli eventi ospitati nelle terrazze invece sarà gratuito per tutti grazie ad un percorso dedicato.

Florence: Forte di Belvedere reopens to the public

Forte di Belvedere, an imposing historic structure in Florence, will officially reopen to the public on June 24, 2025, in conjunction with the celebrations dedicated to the feast of San Giovanni, the city’s patron saint.

The management of the Forte will be entrusted to the MUS.E Foundation, which plans to transform this iconic place into an active and lively cultural center, able to harmoniously combine history, art, music and entertainment.

The reopening of the Forte will be celebrated with a special event that will culminate in a concert by the Orchestra della Toscana, scheduled for 9:30 pm on the same evening. The panoramic Belvedere Firenze café will reopen on June 30, operating every day, not only during the day, but extending its service even after the museum’s opening hours, thus offering a perfect place to enjoy a breathtaking view of the city while enjoying a coffee or an aperitif.

During the summer season of 2025, the Forte will be the stage for a musical festival called “Forte in Musica”, which will be held every Wednesday at sunset. This series of concerts will feature various artists, covering different musical genres and promising to enrich the city’s cultural offering. In addition, a series of talks will be held under the title The Actuality of Beauty, with the participation of experts in the cultural, artistic and architectural sectors, who will discuss relevant topics related to beauty and cultural heritage.

For the younger ones and families, the Forte will offer guided tours and workshops, designed to involve children, teenagers and adults in educational and fun activities. The Firenze Forma Continua project aims to make the cultural heritage of Florence known and experienced in all its forms, by hosting special events dedicated to different audiences.

The Forte di Belvedere will be accessible from Tuesday to Sunday, with hours ranging from 10:00 to 20:00. As for tickets, admission will be free for residents of Florence, while for other visitors there will be a cost of €5 for the full ticket and €3 for the reduced ticket.

Exceptionally, on June 24th it will be possible to enjoy the Forme di città proposals for free, at 5 pm for families with children, at 6:30 pm for adults: reservation required info@musefirenze.it 055-0541450.

Forte Belvedere will be open from Tuesday to Sunday, from 10 am to 8 pm (last admission at 7 pm). It will be possible to purchase tickets for the Forte Belvedere Museum and Forte Belvedere Gardens;

Access to Forte Belvedere will be free for residents of the Metropolitan City of Florence, while it will be paid for all other visitors (full ticket €5; reduced €3). Access to the cafeteria only and to the events hosted on the terraces will be free for everyone thanks to a dedicated path.
