Sono lieto di annunciarvi che è appena uscito il mio ultimo libro: “La Pietà Vaticana: la Madre delle madri”.

Alle soglie del Giubileo del 1500 la Pietà fu svelata ai fedeli e oggi, alle soglie del Giubileo 2025 e in occasione dei 550 anni dalla nascita di Michelangelo Buonarroti, esce questo libro che racconta la storia dell’opera che per prima diede la fama.

Come di consueto, la mia alter ego ha saputo darmi i miei spazi lasciandomi raccontare in prima persona le vicende collegate alla nascita della straordinaria scultura che tutto il mondo oggi conosce.

Attraverso aneddoti, lettere e testimonianze dell’epoca, la mia voce narrante ha restituito un ritratto più completo e umano di me e del lavoro che ho fatto per dar forma a una delle opere d’arte più belle che l’umanità abbia conosciuto: la Pietà Vaticana.

I am pleased to inform you that my latest book has just been published: “The Vatican Pietà: the Mother of Mothers”.
