Circa due ore fa sono stati buttati a terra due busti dei Musei Vaticani esposti nella Galleria Chiaramonti dei Musei Vaticani.

Il gesto sembra essere stato compiuto da uno squilibrato, questo è quanto riporta l’agenzia stampa Dire attraverso il comunicato dei Musei Vaticani.

L’uomo che ha compiuto il gesto è stato subito fermato dai custodi che sono intervenuti quando hanno udito il rumore dei busti che cadevano a terra e dalla Gendarmeria in servizio presso i Musei Vaticani.

Al momento è ancora in corso l’interrogatorio che forse servirà a fare un po’ di chiarezza su quanto accaduto.

Le due opere, ancorate alle mensole, sono state gettate con forza a terra e hanno subito qualche danno. I due busti sono stati portati nell’immediato presso il laboratorio di Restauro dei Marmi dei Musei Vaticani.
