All’improvviso, dal tetto della Reggia di Versailles, questo pomeriggio è iniziato a uscire un copioso fumo nero.

Mentre le squadre dei vigili del fuoco sono subito intervenute per domare le fiamme che si stavano sviluppando, i visitatori sono stati fatti evacuare.

Stando a quanto riferito da Bfm Tv e Le Parisien, è stato il cantiere posizionato al livello del tetto della reggia a prendere fuoco, nei pressi della prestigiosa Cour de Marbre.

Tutte le suqadre in servizio dei vigili del fuoco a disposizione in quel momento sono intervenute tempestivamente riuscendo a domare le fiamme mentre i turisti spaventati allontanati dal luogo.

Non ci sono stati feriti e nelle prossime ore verranno valutati i danni che ha subito nell’incendio la struttura della Reggia di Versailles.

Fire at the Palace of Versailles

Suddenly, copious black smoke began to emerge from the roof of the Palace of Versailles this afternoon.
While the fire brigade teams immediately intervened to put out the developing flames, the visitors were evacuated.

According to what was reported by Bfm TV and Le Parisien, it was the construction site located at the roof level of the palace that caught fire, near the prestigious Cour de Marbre.

All the firefighters on duty available at that moment intervened promptly, managing to put out the flames while the frightened tourists were removed from the place.

There were no injuries and in the next few hours the damage suffered by the structure of the Palace of Versailles in the fire will be assessed.
